Kilkenny County Council is offering a traditional building skills training programme at St. Mary’s Church, Kilkenny, for participants in the Waterford Institute of Technology B.Sc. Applied Conservation Skills programme. It is planned to continue this pilot conservation-related training throughout this project and then progress on to other capital conservation projects planned for Kilkenny in the coming years.
