Launch of the new Kilkenny Cultural Strategy for Arts, Heritage and Libraries

Kilkenny County Council Heritage Office provides a strategic heritage service including: providing advice and information on heritage issues; developing policies and priorities for the identification, protection, conservation and enhancement of Kilkenny’s Heritage; collecting and collating heritage data and promoting heritage awareness and education. Key objectives include working with the Kilkenny Heritage Forum to prepare and implement the County Heritage Plan and County Biodiversity Plan, and co-ordinating and implementing the Kilkenny Creative Ireland programme.
