Cabragh Wetlands Outing
Birdwatch Kilkenny will hold an outing to Cabragh Wetlands, Thurles on Saturday 17th Nov @10am. Meet at 10am at Kilkenny Castle Gates for car pooling or the Cabragh Information Centre @ 11.15am. Gallipoli, The GPO and Flanders event
After a very successful event in the National Library, Dublin, composer Michael Holohan brings his very personal composition Gallipoli, The GPO and Flanders back home to Kilkenny on Thursday 15th Nov @ 8pm in the Medieval Mile Museum. This music theatre piece, supported with funding from Kilkenny County Council under our Creative Ireland Programme 2018, features the war letters of his two granduncles Thomas & Frank Holohan. Geoconservation in Ireland: from global to local
The Geological Society’s Geoconservation Annual Gathering takes place on Monday 19th November 10am – 4pm in the Palatine Room, National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin. A range of expert speakers in the field will give talks which could be of potential interest to geologists, planners, heritage experts and all those interested in their community and the geological heritage around them.
