The Heritage Office commissioned a habitat and biodiversity report for Glenmore Tidy Towns. It includes a map of the habitats in the village, recommendations for actions to support the biodiversity and pollinators in the area, and practical advice on addressing the “Nature & Biodiversity” category in the National Tidy Towns competition. The final report prepared by ecologist Dr. Fiona MacGowan was presented to the Tidy Towns committee at a meeting in Glenmore on 27th September 2019. To find out more click here
