Trip to Tacumshin and Lady’s Island Lake
Birdwatch Ireland Kilkenny Branch invites you to join them on a pleasant day trip to Tacumshin and Lady’s Island Lake in Wexford on Saturday 16th November. Tacumshin Lake, a favourite with bird watchers, is a large mosaic of wetlands. Meet at Kilkenny Castle gates at 9.30am for car pooling. Bring suitable rain gear and a picnic. Heritage Ireland 2030 – Keeping you in the picture
The Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Josepha Madigan TD has published an analysis of the 2100 submissions received during the recent Heritage Ireland 2030 public consultation. This will be used to inform the new National Heritage Plan (Heritage 2030). Thanks to everyone in Kilkenny who made a submission or attended one of the public meetings.
