Tidy Towns newsletter – Issue 3
The Tidy Towns office have issued their 3rd newsletter for 2020. Cruinniú na nÓg  –  The Robin Song
The Robin Song is an engaging singing workshop by Aileen Lambert and her daughter Nellie (aged 10), commissioned by the Heritage Office of Kilkenny County Council to celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg (Ireland’s day of creativity on June 13th coordinated by Creative Ireland). The robin is passing on the news about threats to our native wildlife and is set to the air of the lively Irish tune “Beidh Aonach Amarach.” Suitable for children and families. Reopening Kilkenny – Survey
Kilkenny County Council Enterprise Office are inviting you to complete a survey to express your opinions and set out what would attract you back into Kilkenny.  Survey results will be used to help devise the best possible approach to reopening Kilkenny and will be shared with local businesses and other key stakeholders. National Spring Clean
An Taisce resumed its National Spring Clean on 8th June 2020. They are asking participants to take extra precautions in light of the current covid restrictions. Check out their website for further information www.nationalspringclean.org and the new health and safety guidelines.
