Kilkenny County Council Decade of Centenaries Programme 2020
The Kilkenny County Council Community Strand of the Decade of Centenaries Programme 2020 comprises seven projects focusing on the period 1920-1923. It is designed to raise awareness and encourage engagement with the significant events and people from county Kilkenny associated with this period in our history. It comprises online talks and workshops, films and commemorative postcards.
The programme is co-ordinated by the Heritage Office of Kilkenny County Council. Individual projects are organised and delivered by organisations and community groups. Due to Covid 19, unfortunately only projects which are delivered online or without public gatherings could be included in the programme. Projects will be delivered in adherence to national public health guidance. The programme is as follows:
