Oral History Basics online event
The Oral History Network of Ireland (OHNI) will host an online workshop titled Oral History Basics on Saturday 18th February from 10am -12.30pm.  It will be specifically designed for beginners who are interested in learning more about oral history, its potential as a research methodology and will outline some of the key issues to consider when using oral history. It will offer a preliminary introduction to project planning, ethical considerations, interview techniques and potential outputs. Cost: Members €25, Non-Members €40. Kilkenny Castle Child Friendly Guided Tours
OPW Kilkenny Castle will host a series of free Child Friendly Guided Tours of the castle during February. Why not join one of their guides and view the beautiful period rooms in a more relaxed environment. These tours are aimed at school going aged children and their families. The Heritage Council is seeking to recruit a Grants Administrator who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of their grants programmes and will support the Grants Manager to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of these programmes and their ongoing development.
