Climate Hero Challenge
Climate Heroes is a team-based climate challenge in taking climate friendly actions together. ⅔ of C02 emissions are produced by individual consumption. Learn about your own climate impact and how your simple actions, added together with your team, do make a difference. Birdwatch  Ireland Kilkenny outing to East Coast Nature Reserve
Birdwatch Kilkenny will host their next outing on Saturday 15th April to Birdwatch Ireland’s East Coast Nature Reserve, Sea Road, Newcastle, Co Wicklow. The reserve has a well-marked system of trails, boardwalks and observation hides so it is perfect for self-guided visits. Meet at 10am@ Kilkenny Castle gates for car-pooling.  Wear suitable clothing and boots in case of inclement weather. For further details contact birdwatchkilkenny@gmail.com

Call for papers for OHNI Conference
The Oral History Network Ireland (OHNI) will host its 2023 conference, titled Oral History: Power & Resistance, on Friday 16th & Saturday 17th June, in Dooley’s Hotel, Waterford.  Proposals for papers, short ‘moments’ presentations and posters must be submitted by 5pm Friday 21st April 2023.  They welcome proposals on any topic relating to oral history particularly those that take an imaginative approach to the conference theme. The Heritage Council TidyTowns Heritage Award
The Heritage Council has been involved with the TidyTowns competition since 1997 and seeks to recognise those who work at community level to nurture, promote and inspire new connections with natural, cultural or built heritage.
