All Ireland Pollinator Plan – Phase 2!
The National Biodiversity Data Centre have launched a new All-Ireland Pollinator Plan for 2021-2025 to help our bees, other pollinating insects and our wider biodiversity. Pledge your Garden for Pollinators
The National Biodiversity Data Centre, with support and funding from the Local Authority Heritage and Biodiversity Officers, are asking you to Pledge your Garden for Pollinators.  Does Heritage “Make your Place”?
The Community Section of Kilkenny County Council have commissioned Health Checks for 6 towns and villages in the county (Thomastown, Castlecomer, Johnstown, Urlingford, Mullinavat, Goresbridge) and would like your opinion on the current economic, social, environmental and physical situation of the town. If you live in one of these areas – do you think that the heritage buildings, the history, biodiversity and habitats in the town are important? The Life and Legacy of An Irish Revolutionary
The Pat Walsh Memorial Committee have produced a short trailer for their forthcoming documentary “Pat Walsh; The Life and Legacy of an Irish Revolutionary”. The documentary will be aired at an on-line commemorative event on Sunday May 16th to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Pat and his comrade Seán Quinn who both died during the War of Independence in May 1921. The documentary was funded by Kilkenny County Council Decade of Centenaries Programme 2020, with funding from the National Commemorations Unit. New Video to help Traditional Farm Buildings Scheme applicants

Garden Butterfly Monitoring
Would you like to record the butterflies in your garden and help to conserve Irelands butterflies? Creative Ireland/Fulbright Fellowship webinar
The Creative Ireland and Fulbright Professional Fellowships Awards were launched in 2018 to assist participants undertake valuable placements in prestigious American museums.  This programme will host a webinar on Thursday 1st April @ 1pm and will outline how to succeed at the application stage followed by a Q & A session.
