Heritage Stewardship Fund
The Heritage Council launched a new scheme titled Heritage Stewardship Fund to support staff in local authorities, state agencies and third level institutions with responsibilities for heritage programmes e.g. stewardship of and access to collections, archives, buildings, monuments and habitats. Opportunity to meet Oral Historians event
The Oral History Network Ireland (OHNI) will host a free in person networking event on Friday 4th March from 10.30am -12.30pm in Cork City Library, Cork. This event offers a space for oral historians to meet in an informal setting to discuss ideas and meet other people involved in oral history and an opportunity to share your views on how OHNI can develop over the coming months and years. Irish Historic Towns Atlas workshops
Irish Historic Towns Atlas (IHTA) is inviting expressions of interest from researchers, teachers and practitioners who have used the Atlas in their work and would like to take part in a day of workshops by giving a short presentation and taking part in panel discussions on Thursday 19th May 2022 in the Royal Irish Academy, Dawson St, Dublin. Royal Irish Academy Research Grants open for applications
The Royal Irish Academy have opened their applications for their Archaeology Research Grants and Archaeology Legacy Grants. The ARG scheme welcomes applications which focus on an innovative and standalone research question with a standalone research answer. The Legacy Grants scheme is open to applications relating to post-excavation research for Archaeological Research Excavations. Closing date for receipt of applications is Wednesday 30th March 2022.
