Irish Garden Bird Survey continues
Just a reminder that the Irish Garden Bird Survey continues until the end of February with Birdwatch Ireland asking members of the public to keep note of the highest number of each bird species visiting their garden every week up until the end of February. Tune in to The First Puck radio play
As part of the Danesfort GAA Club Centenary celebrations, The First Puck, a new radio play supported by Kilkenny County Council Creative Ireland programme 2021, will be live broadcasted from Danesfort GAA Club on Community Radio Kilkenny City (CRKC) on Saturday 19th Feb. The programme starts at 12pm with interviews of the participants, the live broadcast of the play (the story of a grandfather telling his grandchildren about when the club was founded in 1922) starts at 1pm.  Don’t forget to tune in.

Kilkenny Rivers online public consultation meetings
Healthy rivers and catchments benefit biodiversity, climate and communities and this is your chance to have a say. The Local Authority Waters Programme will host a series of online consultation meetings which will provide you with information on the water quality in Kilkenny’s rivers, with time for discussion on local issues. The Kilkenny sessions will take place on Tuesday 22nd February @ 7.30pm for the Kilkenny, Thomastown, Castlecomer and Callan areas and on Thursday 24th February @ 7.30pm for the Piltown, Mooncoin and Slieverue areas.   Further details/registration at https://lawaters.ie/rbmp-public-meetings-2022/
